MUMBAI: Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion' has entered its fourth week of theatrical release, steadily approaching the Rs 400 crore domestic net milestone. The crime thriller collected Rs 2.65 crore net on its 20th day, taking its India net collection to Rs 359.75 crore and the India gross to Rs 431.02 crore.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced by Panorama Studios and Star Studio18, the film serves as the final instalment of the highly successful franchise [1, 4]. The cast includes Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Vijay Salgaonkar, alongside Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav [1, 4]. The narrative continues the cat-and-mouse game between the Salgaonkar family and law enforcement, reportedly featuring an ending distinct from the original Malayalam counterpart directed by Jeethu Joseph [1, 4]. The film received a clean certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, allowing for unrestricted theatrical exhibition.

The film is now eyeing Rs 365 crore in India net collections on its third Thursday. Its domestic trajectory has been steady; it crossed the Rs 200 crore mark within the first five days and surpassed the lifetime collections of the original 'Drishyam'. By Day 13, the India net tally stood at Rs 328.75 crore, with the film adding Rs 5.25 crore on that day alone across 14,717 shows.

Internationally, the thriller has performed strongly, accumulating Rs 129 crore from overseas markets. This takes the worldwide gross collection to Rs 560.02 crore. The film had already crossed the Rs 500 crore global benchmark by its second week, reaching Rs 509 crore by Day 13.

The sustained theatrical footfalls in the third and fourth weeks indicate strong word-of-mouth and enduring audience loyalty to the franchise. Having already eclipsed the lifetime domestic net collection of 'Drishyam 2', which stood at Rs 239.67 crore, the third instalment is now targeting Ajay Devgn’s highest-grossing film, 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior', which collected Rs 279.59 crore net. The consistent weekday holds suggest the film will comfortably breach the Rs 400 crore domestic net mark, placing it among the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year. Furthermore, the film's overseas performance underscores the franchise's expanding global appeal beyond traditional domestic markets.

As 'Drishyam 3: The Conclusion' marches toward the Rs 400 crore club, it is poised to set a new benchmark for the franchise. The final weeks of its theatrical run will determine its final lifetime position in the all-time domestic box office rankings.
