KESHA TURNS L.A. HOME SALE INTO A $1.73 MILLION PROPERTY GAIN
The singer’s Mar Vista residence changed asking prices twice before finding a buyer for $6.68 million after roughly two years on the market.

Pop star Kesha has completed the sale of her contemporary home in Los Angeles’ Mar Vista neighborhood for about $6.68 million, bringing a lengthy effort to sell the property to an end.
The singer purchased the residence in 2020 for approximately $4.95 million, giving her a gross price difference of roughly $1.73 million before taxes, commissions, maintenance and other selling expenses.
The property first entered the market in March 2024, when it was offered for about $5.95 million.
That listing was subsequently withdrawn, and the house returned to the market in March 2026 with a substantially higher $7 million asking price.
The eventual transaction closed on May 19, 2026, at a price slightly below the final asking figure, according to property records reported by real-estate sources.
The nearly 5,940-square-foot contemporary residence was designed by Los Angeles architecture and landscaping firm OTT Arch.
The home combines wood, concrete and large glass openings, emphasizing the indoor-outdoor lifestyle associated with Southern California properties.
Its main residence has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, while the property also includes a separate two-bedroom guest unit.
Outdoor features include a swimming pool, multiple decks and a rooftop entertaining area with views, a fire pit and space for outdoor movie watching.
Inside, the house includes an open kitchen, substantial island, built-in wine storage and a distinctive staircase with glass railings.
The residence also reflected Kesha’s musical identity, with personalized interiors and dedicated spaces connected to her creative life.
The sale comes as the singer has been linked with a possible move toward San Francisco, adding another dimension to her decision to part with the Los Angeles property.
From an investment perspective, the transaction represents a significant nominal gain over Kesha’s original purchase price, although her actual net return would be lower after transaction and ownership costs.
